The volume is dedicated to two Corfiots who will long be remembered: Agathi Mylonopoulou-Kopitsa, one of the donors, and Georgios I.Rallis, Prime Minister of Greece. It is dedicated to the former because it was essentially thanks to her tireless personal efforts that the donation was realized. I will never forget her affection and concern for Antivouniotissa, which she passed on just as powerfully to this writer personally as well as to the entire small original project team for the Museum in 1992. It is also dedicated to Georgios Rallis because with his decisive actions at that time, he essentially put both the operation of the Museum of Antivouniotissa as well as Corfu itself on a definite trajectory, in both the cultural as well as other spheres.
